Conclusion
All of the different trade unions and organisations influenced and contributed to the reforms made during the Industrial Revolution. The Luddites helped people see the negative impacts of an industrial society even if they did use violence and was defeated in the end, while the early trade unions improved the working conditions for workers, and the Chartists made politics more to do with the majority of people who were often not wealthy. The Tolpuddle Martyrs stood up for their rights because the amount they were getting paid was barely enough for them to live on so they wanted a change, and protested. This contributed to the reforms that gave workers rights.
